In this department, there are all the works on the setting up of the training center on Thammasat site, the management of stocks in an Excel file. There are also some documents to understand how to use FIFO racks and how this system works.
Stocks management
In this department, you will also find how to use FIFO racks, their characteristics, and advantages, how this system works and how this system can be applied in the Training center.
There is also the stock management. In fact, it is an Excel file with two sheets. One sheet is for all the components in the Training Center and the other one is only for the speaker’s elements. This file is important because it will allow not to lose pieces and to control machines and their maintenances. In each cell, there is the name of a component, and the color of the cell allows to know if the piece is available or not. And for a machine, it allows to know if a machine is out of order or operational.
Setting Up
In the Stocks department, you will find the 3D setting up for the first 3 years in the rooms to help us and simulate a workflow. It is a virtual setting up where people can see in which place there will be each machine and each component in the training center. To do that, we used a plan of the room, and we reach to a 3D model with SketchUp software.
